Earlier this week I mock interviewed high school students and one of my favorite answers from a student was, "My dad always says, "Big puzzle, little pieces....you can always figure something out if you break it down into pieces."
Interviewing at any age is hard...
January, in my business, is a little bit quieter because conferences haven't kicked off yet and corporations haven't started diving back into training and development for their teams.
A quiet month means I can reflect and strategize for the year, prep for upcoming speaking and trainings, as well as participate in things that I am passionate about.
Earlier this week I mock interviewed high school students and one of my favorite answers from a student was, "My dad always says, "Big puzzle, little pieces....you can always figure something out if you break it down into pieces."
I was struck by the simple truth and wisdom in these words. I asked the student what industry her dad works in, thinking he might be in leadership, and she said that he is an electrician at amazon.
To Mr. Electrician at Amazon, you are very wise. What great words you have passed along to your daughter! You Have Good Ripple Effect.
