Yesterday, I spent time with the team at Norwalk Seasonal Services LLC. Some of the team were leaders, but most were front-line team members (mowers, fertilizers, mechanics, landscape designers, and beyond). Folks in this industry don't often get the chance to take a time out to grow and learn....that's exactly what we did.
We created an "outside their norm" experience by carving out time for 1x1 conversations about the following:
- Background - Heartburn - the challenges they are facing? - Horizon - where they are dreaming to? - Why they work at Norwalk Seasonal Services? - What they are most proud of?
The conversations created an opportunity for the team to, know, like, and trust each other a little bit more. These are key factors in building culture!
We also spent time talking about how to create more joy at work and beyond.
Cheers to the team Norwalk Seasonal Services LLC - You Have Good Ripple Effect!
