As 2023 comes to a close, I’ve been thinking about what word or phrase I’d like to use to shape my mindset for 2024.
And for some reason, the phrase for me has been “surf the waves…”
I think it sounds kind of corny but I picture a surfer getting up on their board, riding a wave, falling off, and then getting back up.
They keep surfing.
It’s a little scary because you never know what’s coming your way when surfing.
It’s how I feel about 2024.
I want to surf that wave in 2024 and be open and laser-focused on catching the next best wave.
Knowing that I may not ride it perfectly. I will fall sometimes! But I get back up confidently, knowing the next big wave is coming.
So for 2024, it’s “Surf the Waves”.
