Let’s talk about feedback!

Today I am with a group of architects and designers, for a 3.5 hour session, geared towards giving feedback.

A few of my favorite key takeaways include:

– Knowing the things that prevent us from hearing feedback (truth, relationship, and identity triggers)

– Knowing the 3 types of feedback. There is definitely a difference between appreciation, coaching, and evaluation!

– Listen like your job depends on it. Listening is 2-way and brings out the reasonable.

I love it when teams carve out time for learning!
