JOY is not something that comes to you, it is something that you create!

Each of us has memory or a moment, tucked away in our pocket, it’s our evidence that JOY exists. Remember that feeling (even if it is from long ago or from your childhood), and then think about what activities could bring that feeling to you now. Block time on the calendar (even if it is 15 minutes) and do it.

Loving JOY the most....

As I have reimagined my work life (owning my own business, having more JOY than I could have imagined, falling flat on my face a time-or-two, getting paid to speak, teach, and coach on what I love), I have realized that the people I am speaking to, in corporate, casual, or conference settings, love JOY the most.

In my keynotes and workshops, I talk about how eight years ago, my husband I decided that JOY is our job. We realized that we were overscheduled, under and overwhelmed, and we weren’t particularly inspired by life. So….we created a JOY calendar (reasons to celebrate, smile, and just get out there and live). It worked!

We now have a laundry list of things that we want to create, experience, or do. If need some ideas, grab some ideas off of my website.

If you are hungry for more JOY, I encourage you to think of JOY this way…..
