I try to read in between kid pick-ups and drop offs, and yesterday my daughter says to me, “Mom, you’ve been reading that one for a loooong time.”
A little part of me was embarrassed (face palm) that she’s right, and the other part of me was glad she noticed. I think I’ll take that as a win! Hopefully, when she is older she will remember me reading and decide to read too.
