Today I spent my morning facilitating a 3-hour workshop with the leadership team at Spahn & Rose Lumber Co.
We talked all things motivation and engagement..
Memorable Moments / Key Takeaways included:
– Making time for joy at work (it’s like a bank account, you need to store some for a rainy day)
– Identifying key values and goals of your team. Knowing their previous experiences and how that impacts their day-to-day.
– Looking through other people’s glasses – understanding their approach and logic.
Being back in DBQ felt like home…..I even snuck in a pic at the house I lived in during college and grabbed some Happy Joe’s Pizza!
Now onto Iowa City for EntreFEST!
